Looking for a last minute gift?

If you have a scrapbooker on your holiday shopping list this year, then Scrapbook Place is your one stop shop for all the latest papers, embellishments and tools. Of course, we sell gift cards but how about a gift packaged collection of coordinating products that has been specially selected and packaged. Our gift packages come in several different collections and themes and start at $18.99. If your gift receipent has a special request, let us help design something to grant their wishes.

Also, just a reminder we still have a clearance section with 10 cent a sheet papers, holiday papers at 70% off, 50% off embellishments, and Class kits at 50% off.

If you missed the Jolly by Golly class this past Saturday, we still have a few kits left. Idette is a fabulous teacher and if you've taken her classes before you know her projects are really detailed. The kits are no exception - they come with full color pictures and complete written directions. As a bonus we've lowered the price so they're sure to sell out fast.

New Stuff is store now

Today we received the Graphic 45 Baby 2 Bride collection - it's really pretty with a soft color palette of teal and peach. It's a great collection for both girls and boys plus it would make great wedding layouts with it's floral patterns hence the collection name. Plus all of Graphic 45 papers are double sided so you always have 2 options when creating with it.

Yesterday we received tons more Prima goodness including flowers, pearl swirls, flower centers and felt alphas. Who doesn't love that?? Come check out our selection, we're told it's the best around!

As we are typing this post, we see that somehow we never posted our ScrapPink pics... check them out on our sidebar. All the cropppers had a great time and left with tons of prizes and super full bellies! We want to thank Bagelworks, Subway (courtesy of Mary W.) and Tomasso's for treating us all to such wonderful food. We are in the process of calculating our total contribution to the Susan G. Komen foundation and we'll let you know the outcome.

Have you checked out the class calendar this month? It's loaded with Halloween themed projects, Christmas or Hanakkah cards in Stamp Camp with Sheryl, and of course last but not least our day with Guest Designer Marah Johnson. If you haven't signed up for her classes yet, what are you waiting for?? There's only about 10 spaces left, you won't want to be left out. We've even made it easy for you to pay online via paypal. Click here for the Bird Book and here for the Twilight book.

We're totally hyped... Marah Johnson's visit to Scrapbook Place is only is 3 1/2 weeks away! Marah will be here Saturday, October 17th and she will be teaching not one but two totally awesome technique classes!! The first is called the "Bird Book" using the ever polpular Tidepools collection and the second is a mini book based on the "TWILIGHT" saga. Both classes are technique heavy and you're sure to leave with a ton of sparkle and maybe inky fingers.

Here's Marah's bio for those of you who aren't familiar with her or her work.....
I grew up all over the United States. During my young childhood, my parents embraced the true “hippie” lifestyle and spent much time moving from place to place making and selling their art. Most of my parent’s friends were artisans or craftsmen. I would spend hours watching them create, and, after my constant pestering, nearly all of them would let me have a hand at their trade. By the age of six, I could tool leather, bead on a loom, carve faces from clay, and sew doll clothing on my sewing machine. I was always happiest if my hands were busy. That is still the case today. More CHA Goodies have arrived

This past week we have been inundated with boxes from our UPS Guy Joe. In an earlier post we mentioned all our goodies from 7 Gypsies - the Binderie is here, SEI, Creative Imaginations, Tapestry, Tattered Angels and Quickutz plus our shopping bags. Yes, our shopping bags are finally here, and the good news is we are NOT dicontinuing our "return a bag get a punch" program. We started this program at the beginning of this year, and if you haven't 'cashed in' here's how it works - for each Scrapbook Place bag you bring back or reuse, we will give you one punch on your Frequent Buyer card. Empty your closets today, you might end up with a full card worth 15% off your next purchase.

We did choose a winner for our August challenge in an earlier post today, but we didn't get the layout pictures posted so here they are. The challenge is a great way to show how many people can use the same products and get totally different results.
